一、獎學金主旨：
該項獎學金是以台灣各大學院校和日本各大學﹑研究所﹑短期大學﹑高等專門學校間簽訂有學生交流等相關協議為基礎設立。依據交流等相關協議各大學院校學生赴日本各大學短期交換留學時，公益財團法人日本台灣交流協會希望能透過對短期留學學生的資助，拓展日台之間留學生交流，提昇雙方教育・研究水準。並以增進互相瞭解及友好親善為目的。獎學金之目的為促進台灣以日本作為研究對象以及台灣籍學生於日本進行課程學習、研究，主要 支援以日本為研究對象且已著手於人文、社會科學領域等進行研究，結束短期交換留學後，以在日本的研究內容撰寫畢業論文並取得學位之台灣籍在學學生；亦或是目前正與日本的大學等研究機關進行共同研究者等，並於結束短期交換留學後，將此交換留學經驗活用於台灣方面大學的教育、研究上之台灣籍在學學生。

Application Requirements:

• Business idea must be student-led. (Ideas based on faculty-led research or projects already being carried out by an incorporated company you have established will not be eligible for selection.)
• Participants must be able to present their pitch in English. (The symposium and this contest will be conducted entirely in English.)
• Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate students
• Language: English
