二、申請資格:

()獎勵本校在學成績優秀碩、博士班「外國學生」及「陸生」:

1)本校在學碩、博士班外國學生及陸生修業滿1學年。

2)在學期間每學期至少修習一科(含論文),且歷年學業成績總平均八十五分以上、操行成績總平均八十五分以上。

3)清寒學生在學期間每學期至少修習一科(含論文),且歷年學業成績總平均八十分以上、操行成績總平均八十五分以上,可經指導教授推薦申請。

()獎勵碩、博士班僑、外、陸生提昇學術研究能量:

1、本校在學碩、博士班僑、外、陸生,符合以下情形之一者,可提出申請:

1)當年度赴本校協議學校交換研修

2)當年度參加國際學術研討會且發表論文

3當年度參加移地教學活動

2、本校碩士畢業後,當年度赴QS世界大學排名前500名之大學攻讀學位者,可提出申請。

3、上項活動如獲主辦單位落地招待者,不予補助;未獲校內外其他單位補助者優先補助。

・Eligibility for Application

  1. To reward foreign and Mainland Chinese students with outstanding academic performance in the Master’s or PhD programs at the University:

   (1)   Foreign and Mainland Chinese students enrolled in M.A. or Ph.D. programs at the University who have completed at least one academic year of study.

   (2)   Students must have taken at least one course (including their dissertation) each semester, with an average of 85 or above in their academic performance and 85 or above in their conduct in previous years.

   (3)   Financially disadvantaged students, who have taken at least one course (including their dissertation) each semester, with an average of 80 or above in their academic performance and 80 or above in their conduct in previous years, may apply with the recommendation of their dissertation advisor.

  1. To reward Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong and Macau Students, foreign students and Mainland Chinese students in Master’s and PhD programs to enhance their academic research capabilities:

   1) Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong and Macau Students, foreign and Mainland Chinese students enrolled in Master’s and doctoral programs at the University are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following criteria:

    1.Participating in an exchange program with one of the University’s partner institutions in the current academic year.

    2.Attending and presenting papers at international academic conferences in the current academic year.

    3.Participating in off-site learning in the current academic year.

   2) Graduates of the University’s Master’s program who are pursuing a degree at one of the top 500 universities in the QS World University Rankings in the same year as their graduation are eligible to apply.

   3) No subsidies will be provided to participants of the above activities if board and lodging are offered free of charge by the organizers. Priority will be given to those who have not  received subsidies from the University or other external institutions.

三、申請方式

()獎勵本校在學成績優秀碩、博士班「外國學生」及「陸生」:

1請繳交以下紙本:申請表、歷年學業成績單(含總平均及累計班排名)、居留證/入台証正面影本、學生證正面影本(加蓋本校在學證明章),至國際事務中心或兩岸事務中心辦理。

2清寒學生請另檢附指導教授推薦申請表、正式海外財力證明或清寒證明文件。

 

()獎勵碩、博士班僑、外、陸生提昇學術研究能量:

請繳交以下紙本

1、申請表

2、赴外研習計畫書或學術研討會相關資訊,如活動時程、主辦單位規劃內容、經費需求等。

3、赴外研習機構、移地教學相關機構同意書或確認函;因申請碩士畢業後當年度赴QS世界大學排名前500名之大學攻讀學位者,應檢附該校註冊或入學許可證明。

 

・How to Apply

  1. To reward foreign students and Chinese students with outstanding academic performance in the Master’s and PhD programs of the University:
    1. Submit the following documents: application form, academic transcripts from previous years (including overall average and cumulative class ranking), a copy of the front of your resident certificate/Taiwan entry permit, and a copy of the front of your student ID card (with the University's enrollment stamp on the copy) to the ICAE Center.
    2. Financially disadvantaged students must also submit a recommendation form from their dissertation advisor, additional formal proof of financial need, such as overseas financial capability or documentation of their impoverished status.
  2. To reward Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong and Macau Students, foreign students and Chinese students in the Master's and PhD programs to enhance their academic research capabilities:

     Please submit the following documents:

  1. Application form
  2. Study abroad proposal or information on academic conference, including the conference dates, agenda, and funding requirements.
  3. A Letter of consent or confirmation from the study abroad institution or the institution related to off-site learning. Graduates applying for study at one of the top 500 universities in the QS World University Rankings in the same year as their master’s degree graduation must provide proof of registration or admission to the University.

 

四、審核方式:
由國際交流委員會核定。

・Vetting Method: 

 This scholarship will be reviewed by the International Exchange Committee, which may adjust  and allocate the number of recipients and grant amount under Article 3 according to the actual  number of applicants each year. Selection will be based on merit, taking into consideration of  academic performance and financial hardship.

 

五、經核定補助之學生應於活動結束後2週內,繳交1,000字以上成果報告,內容應包含研習成果、學生心得、照片實錄、檢討及建議等。

 

・Reimbursement & Completion:

 Grant recipients must submit a report of 1,000 words or above within two weeks after the event.  The report should include the study outcomes, personal experiences, photos, reviews and  suggestions.
