Application Requirements:
- Business idea must be student-led. (Ideas based on faculty-led research or projects already being carried out by an incorporated company you have established will not be eligible for selection.)
- Participants must be able to present their pitch in English. (The symposium and this contest will be conducted entirely in English.)
- Teams consisting of 3 to 6 members who are undergraduate or graduate students (including international students) from universities in Japan or abroad.

Application Categories:
- 【Idea Category】5 to 7 teams will be selected from all applicants to advance to the Final Competition.
Teams that have clearly identified a social issue they want to address and have a business idea, but have not yet begun developing a prototype or validating the idea with users, or have only just started doing so. - 【Seed / Startup Category】※Five teams will be selected from all applicants to advance to the Final Competition.
Teams that have already begun validating or implementing their business idea in some form and are planning to launch a business, or teams that have been in business for less than two years.
