國際處舉辦115學年度交換學生歡迎會 共創多元文化交流校園
115年3月12日，國際與兩岸學術交流事務處舉辦境外交流生歡迎會，歡迎來自世界各地至東吳大學交流的學生。活動吸引近百位師生熱情參與，包含王世和副校長、國際處王煦棋學術交流長、生涯發展中心周守恩主任、外語學院羅濟立院長、商學院阮金祥院長、跨領域國際學士班張綺容主任、語言教學中心江逸琳主任共襄盛舉。
本次歡迎會以白色情人節作為主題，取名為「戀戀東吳」，期盼交換學生能在東吳留下美好且難忘的回憶。活動首先由師長們致詞，向交換學生表達誠摯歡迎與勉勵，並祝福大家在臺期間收穫豐富的學習與生活體驗。隨後，全體師生一同合影留念，為交流旅程留下珍貴紀錄。
在餐敘時光中，國際處準備了披薩及點心，讓交流生與志工們能在輕鬆愉快的氛圍下互動交流，分享開學以來的生活點滴與趣聞，增進彼此認識。餐敘結束後，志工團隊精心規劃Kahoot!互動問答遊戲，內容涵蓋東吳大學校園知識、臺灣文化特色及各國文化交流等主題，讓同學們在歡樂競賽中更加了解彼此。活動並準備東吳大學特色飲料提袋、鑰匙圈及紙膠帶等紀念品作為獎品，現場氣氛熱絡。
隨著活動進入尾聲，本次歡迎會也圓滿落幕。透過交流與互動，不僅拉近了交換學生與志工、師長間的距離，也讓同學們對東吳大學有更深的認識與歸屬感。期盼未來能持續透過多元活動促進文化交流，陪伴交換學生在東吳展開充實而難忘的學習旅程。
SU Welcomes International Exchange Students, Fosters Diverse & Inclusive Campus
On March 12, 2026, the Office of International and Cross-Strait Academic Exchange (ICAE) hosted a welcome party for incoming exchange students from around the world. Nearly 100 faculty members, student volunteers, and international students enjoyed the event, including Vice President Shih-Ho Wang, Dean of ICAE Hsu-Chi Wang, Director Chou of the Career Development Center, Dean Luo of the School of Foreign Languages and Cultures, Dean Juan of the School of Business, Director Chang of the GPIS, and Director Chiang of the Language Center.
Inspired by White Day, the University aims to create meaningful and lasting memories for exchange students during their time at Soochow University. The event began with welcoming remarks from university representatives, who extended their warm greetings and best wishes for a rewarding academic and cultural experience in Taiwan. A group photo session followed, capturing the beginning of a new journey of international exchange.
During the reception, students and volunteers enjoyed pizza and refreshments while sharing stories and experiences from their first weeks on campus. The event also featured an interactive Kahoot! quiz covering fun facts about Soochow University, Taiwanese culture, and global cultures. Through laughter, conversation, and friendly competition, participants strengthened connections and built new friendships.
The welcome party concluded on a warm and memorable note, fostering a stronger sense of belonging among exchange students and further promoting intercultural understanding within the Soochow University community.
