東吳大學緬甸校友會成立於113年10月13日，旨在促進校友聯繫、協助母校發展及連結資源合作等事宜，第一屆會長曾春雲學長(企管系75級)及王明祥學長(經濟系71級)為協助母校推動國際化發展，以提高緬甸學生來校就讀之意願，特捐款訂定「東吳大學緬甸校友會獎勵緬甸清寒學生來台就讀東吳大學獎學金實施辦法」(以下簡稱「本辦法」)。

The Soochow University Myanmar Alumni Association was established on October 13, 2024, with the aim of fostering alumni connections, supporting the development of Soochow University, and facilitating resource collaboration.
To promote the internationalization of Soochow University and encourage more Myanmar students to enroll, the first president, Mr. Tseng Chun-Yun (Class of 1986, Business Administration Department), and Mr. Wang Ming-Hsiang (Class of 1982, Economics Department) donated funds to establish the "Soochow University Myanmar Alumni Association Scholarship for Financially Disadvantaged Myanmar Students to Study at Soochow University" (hereinafter referred to as "the Scholarship").
