菲律賓亞德雷歐大學(Ateneo University)將於2024暑期舉辦短期研修課程，內容包含課程及校外參訪/社區服務等，歡迎有興趣的同學報名。

活動時間：2024年6月17日至7月19日。

活動主題：Rural Development

• Community Engagement in Gawad Kalinga Village in Lobogon, Del Carmen, Siargao Island

課程內容：

• DEV 183.18 (Immersion/Work Camp) – 3 units: This course immerses students in a marginalized community. The immersion allows students to experience the dynamics of a marginalized community and reflect on their experience using various lessons learned in class. This course also introduces students to the practice of social investigation, which is often used as a preparatory step for community development and community organization efforts.
• DEV 183.36 (Community Organization) – 3 units: This course thoroughly analyzes community organizing as an approach to social development, thoroughly analyzing the philosophy underlying this development approach. The focus is on examining the relative strengths and limitations of community organizing as a social development initiative, including assessments of various community organizing efforts.

活動費用：

• Estimated Tuition and other basic fees for 6 units(暫定): USD 760.
• Community Immersion Fee: USD 600 – This includes round-trip airfare from Manila to Siargao, ground transportation in Siargao for scheduled group activities, modest accommodation with host families in the GK Village, simple meals provided either by the host families or immersion organizers, various research and cultural tour activities, and other essential logistical arrangements. Please take note that this does not include expenses outside the community immersion component of the ADFS program (June 24-July 7), such as, but not limited to, roundtrip airfare from the Country of Origin to the Philippines, ground transportation expenses in Metro Manila, board and lodging in Metro Manila, meals in Metro Manila, tours around Metro Manila (whenever applicable), etc.
