111學年度東吳大學喜瑪拉雅研究發展基金會獎學金 Soochow University Himalaya Foundation Scholarship Implementation Regulations
一、申請時間：111年10月27日(四)至11月21日(一)下午5時止。
● Closing date for application: 11 November 2022, 5:00 p.m
二、申請資格：
(一)獎勵本校在學成績優秀碩、博士班外國學生及陸生：
本校在學碩、博士班外國學生及陸生修業滿1學年。在學期間每學期至少修習一科（含論文），且歷年學業成績總平均八十五分以上、操行成績總平均八十五分以上。
(二)獎勵碩、博士班僑、外、陸生提昇學術研究能量：
本校在學碩、博士班僑、外、陸生，符合以下情形之一者，可提出申請：
（1）當年度赴本校協議學校交換研修
（2）當年度參加國際學術研討會且發表論文
本校碩士畢業後，當年度赴QS世界大學排名前500名之大學攻讀學位者，可提出申請。
上項活動如獲主辦單位落地招待者，不予補助；未獲校內外其他單位補助者優先補助。
● Eligibility for Application:
- To reward foreign students and Chinese students with outstanding academic performance in the Master’s and PhD programs of the University.
(1) Foreign students and Chinese students enrolled in M.A. and Ph.D. programs at the University who have completed one academic year of study.
(2) They have taken at least one subject (including dissertation) in each semester of their studies and have an average of 85 or above in their academic performance and 85 or above in their conduct in previous years.
- To reward Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong and Macau Students, foreign students and Chinese students in the Master's and PhD programs to enhance their academic research capabilities:
(1) Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong and Macau Students, foreign and Chinese students enrolled in Master's and doctoral programs of the University may apply if they meet one of the following criteria:
(i) Participating in an exchange program at one of the University’s agreed schools in the current year.
(ii) Attending and presenting papers at international academic conferences in the current year.
(2) Graduates of the University’s Master's program who are pursuing a degree at one of the top 500 universities in the QS World University Rankings in the current year are eligible to apply.
(3) No subsidies will be given to participants of the above activities if they were given board and lodging free of charge by the organizers; priority will be given to those who have not received subsidies from other institutions within or outside the University.
三、申請方式：
1、請於公告申請時間內逕至「東吳大學電子化校園系統」登記。
2、請繳交以下紙本：申請表、歷年學業成績單（含總平均及累計班排名）、居留證/入台証正面影本、學生證正面影本（加蓋本校在學證明章），至國際事務中心或兩岸事務中心辦理。
● How to Apply:
(1) Please register at the “Soochow University E-Campus System” during the announced application period.
(2) Please submit the following documents: application form, academic transcripts of previous years (including overall average and cumulative class ranking), a copy of the front of resident certificate/Taiwan entry permit, and a copy of the front of student
ID card (with the University's enrollment stamp) to the International Affairs Center or the Cross-Strait Affairs Center.
四、審核方式：由國際交流委員會核定。
●Method of review:
The actual number of places and the amount of money granted are based on the annual donation from the Himalaya Foundation and the review by the International Exchange Committee.
五、獲領獎學金者，須提交感謝函致謝基金會。
● Students who are rewarded must write a letter of gratitude to the foundation.
