Semesters
Nomination and Students Application
  • Applying for Spring semester: Nomination --- Sep 1st to Sep 30th / Student Application --- Oct 1st to 31st.
  • Applying for Fall semester: Nomination --- Mar 1st to Mar 31st / Student Application --- Apr 1st to 30th.
  • Home Universities nominations: Please send us a nomination e-mail including students' names, gender, emails, study levels, majors nationalities and exchange period to scujennyyu@gmail.com.
  • Students application: Please follow the steps to proceed and fill out the on-line application forms.
Arrival Date
Fall Semester 2023: Sep. 7 (All exchange students are required to arrive at least 1 day before Orientation.)
Orientation Date
Fall Semester 2023: Sep. 8
Airport Pick-up Service
  • Free pick-up service from the airports (TPE/TSA) are available for students residing at on-campus dormitories. If you will live in the dorms and would like to join the pick-up service, please arrive between 10:00~17:00 on the date indicated. Dormitory check-in service won't be available until the airport pick-up day. If you plan to arrive prior to the dormitory check-in date, you will need to look for temporary accommodation outside campus.

Application Documents
Step 1: On-line application
  1. An official transcript from home university (all prior to the exchange).
  2. A photocopy of passport.
  3. A study plan & Statement of purpose.
  4. Certification of nomination from the home university.
  5. A passport-size photo for registration procedure.
  • On-line application for on/off-campus school dormitory. (The complete information will be out in the middle of May.)
Step 2: Health certificate submission
Please provide an original copy of completed Health Certificate (Valid for 3 months before the entry date) AFTER your application is approved.
Insurance

Accident Insurance

  • Accident insurance is MANDATORY for all incoming exchange students. Students are requested to join the accident insurance plan as recommended by SU. Students will be asked to purchase the insurance plan in the welcoming week.
  • Accident Insurance Fee: NT$ 850 for 5 months (NT$170 per month) *Prices are subject to change without noticeue to the current COVID-19 situation as well as the quarantine policy, the date is subject to change.

Health Insurance

  • According to the Central Epidemic Control Center (CECC) announcement, SU is now strongly regulating every exchange students to get health insurance with SU. If you already get health insurance in home country, you need to provide a copy of the insurance policy which proof you did buy a medical insurance myself to ICAE office and sign the Affidavit. We'll have student sign the Affidavit on the Orientation day.
  • Insurance Fee: NT 500 per month, the content of insurance is in the attachment. [NT 2,500 for 5 months (1 semester) / NT 6,000 for 12 months (2 semesters)]
