On September 23, 2026, Mr. Hiroki IWANO and Ms. Chisato HOTA from International Division of Chiba University of Commerce (CUC), Japan, led a delegation of 14 students on a visit to Soochow University (SU). This marks their 3rd visit to SU.

10 students from SU's Department of Japanese Language and Culture guided the visitors around campus, followed by a student exchange session. Through lively discussions, students shared their academic experiences and cultural perspectives, fostering mutual understanding and new friendships.

To introduce the visitors to Taiwanese traditions, SU presented each guest with a mooncake, symbolizing reunion and togetherness. The students later visited Shilin Night Market together, enjoying local food and experiencing Taiwan's vibrant night market culture.

This event not only highlights the strong partnership between the two universities, but also deepens mutual understanding and friendship through meaningful student interactions.
