Orientation for Spring 2025 Exchange Students

OPEN FROM 8:30-16:00, MONDAY-THURSDAY DURING WINTER VACATION. (NOW~FEB. 16 2025)
Here are some reminders about what to bring and complete before/on the orientation day:
- ORIGINAL COPY of Health Examination (Proof of Positive Measles and Rubella Antibody or Measles and Rubella Vaccination Certificates and Tuberculosis Report). Please combine files and upload them in one PDF file to https://forms.gle/769iFZdaxUbXCp6Q7 before February 14th, 2025.
- Cash for Insurance: Accident insurance & Health insurance
*Accident insurance is MANDATORY for all incoming exchange students. Accident Insurance Fee: (NT$170 per month) NT$850 for 5 months (February 2025 to June 2025).
*Health Insurance Fee: NT2,500 for 5 months(optional). If you choose to opt out of the group health insurance, you need to provide a copy of your personal medical insurance policy as proof to Ms. Jody Wang at the ICAE office and sign the Affidavit (see attached for your reference).
- Students who would like to purchase a Taiwanese SIM card through SU, please prepare a copy of your passport, visa and NT$2400 in cash (see attached for the package). E-SIM isn’t provided.
- For students who have been here since Fall 2024 do not need to attend orientation but you are still welcome to join.
- Please make sure you have joined the LINE group for Spring 2025 exchange students. If there is any problem, kindly email your LINE ID to jodywang@scu.edu.tw, and assistance will be provided to add you to the group.
